Our long-handled version of the shear cut # 18602. Great for reaching back to the buccal tube. Cuts within .5 mm from end of buccal tube. Use on wires up to .022" X .028" rectangulare and .020" round.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CARE AND USE:
These WEHMER pliers are manufactured from surgical grade stainless steel and are inserted with highly alloyed tool steel tips to provide optimum strength, toughness, and wear characteristics.
The hardness of the tip materials provides some resistance to environmental corrosives and oxidation; however, care must be taken in preventing rust of this ferrous material.
Do not immerse these pliers in any acidic disinfecting solution. Minimize exposure to water, and DO NOT STEAM STERILIZE. Clean with a non-ionic ultrasonic solution and thoroughly dry if rinsing is required.
